Here's a little throwback of when we went to Batam this past March, for a little mini-getaway and to celebrate my birthday :)
We stayed at The Turi Beach Resort in Batam! It was absolutely lovely! The villa we stayed at was so lovely and it had a balcony that overlooked the pool. I had an amazing time spending this little vacay with my girlfriends :) There were no wifi in the room so that was actually pretty refreshing, time away from those life-suckers, aka, mobile phones! The weather could not have been anymore perfect, no sun, but it wasn't cloudy. Just the perfect afternoon for a chill by the pool, loads of picture-taking (what's new? Haha) with beers and wine.
And since it was my birthday week, my sweet friends surprised me with cakes during breakfast buffet the next day. I was honestly caught off guard. When the staff came out with cakes and started singing the Happy Birthday song, swear to god I was looking around trying to spot the birthday person. Haha.
Thank you my ladies for that awesome weekend. It never ceases to amaze me how we have come such a long way, and will always reminisce on how we disliked each other in the beginning. Haha!
